Lan Hoang received his J.D. from Stanford University and spent 6 years as a U.S. attorney in Japan, representing financial institutions, trading houses and hi-tech companies. Hoang has experience investing in Japanese start-ups and managing and expanding companies globally. As CEO of PlayNext, he started and grew Aeria Games to 600+ people with offices in Silicon Valley, Berlin and San Paulo and sold the company to Prosieben, a major media company in Europe. He also serves as Chairman of Ijji (a venture capital-backed start-up in Silicon Valley) and Director of Mobilus (a Japanese mobile solutions company) and Internetcom (a Japanese online media company).
